A Beautiful Day (10/19/2024)

It’s a beautiful day at my home. I looked, and it’s a beautiful day across the US except for parts of Minnesota, Colorado, and New Mexico. Sorry folks in those three states. We hope the weather passes through quickly so you can enjoy what we’re enjoying everywhere else: a beautiful fall day that makes one glad to be able to get out and enjoy it.

Sorry about the lateness of my post today. I was out enjoying the day, taking in the colors, thinking about all that has happened this year already as we begin to batten down hatches and prepare for another winter. I pray your year has been a good one, full of blessings and times with the LORD, with family, and with friends.

Fall days like today are a great time to ponder what has been, to give thanks and praise, to look ahead with both wonder and purpose. It is a great time for long walks, for cups of warm cider, for chats with neighbors who are out raking when you are.

So, why are you reading this when you could be outside?
