The LORD is love. The LORD is goodness personified and all goodness comes from the LORD. And when others are good and loving, we should thank them for their goodness and love. But we should also thank the LORD because it was the LORD that gave them the desire to love and to be good.
Yesterday, I was blessed by a special and unexpected gift from a friend. It was a total surprise. It came at the end of a long week with several personal challenges and worry. And then out of the blue, another took care of me, the caregiver. It was just the God Nod I needed. And so, I thanked my beneficiary and I thanked my LORD because I realized it was His love that inspired their love and blessing.
As we begin our weekend, our down time if we are lucky, let us take some time to think of those who have acted with loving goodness in our lives, our moments, our homes, our world. Let us give thanks for their loving goodness and ask the LORD to smile upon them extra brightly this day. And then let us give thanks to our LORD who is the source of all goodness and love.
As we complete our first week of the Easter season, let us recall with joy our Savior’s love for us and His goodness that allowed Him to give himself totally for love of us and for our good, for our salvation. And let us thank Christ for being the model of loving goodness.
Until tomorrow, let us all love well.

Thank you
