Blessings in Abundance (12/25/2024)

This morning, as we set out for the day, let us all take time to recognize the blessings in abundance we have received because the LORD loves us. Love is the reason for all the goodness that is. It began with the LORD, the LORD’s love continues to fuel the flame. The LORD’s love shows up in ways we would never have planned ourselves such as in a manager in Bethlehem over two millenniums ago. Our lives will involve trials and sufferings, but always and everywhere, no matter when or where we find ourselves, one thing we are sure of is the LORD’s love for us and how that love can change us and our world.

This morning, let us take time to raise our minds and hearts to the LORD in praise and thanksgiving for the gift that is the reason for our season of lights, for our season of hope, for our season of love. Let us give praise and thanksgiving for the gift of the Son of God to us.

May the peace of that first Christmas grace our hearts this day. Let us all have a blessed Christmas.
