Daily Scripture Reflection & Prayer: April 15,2026

LECTIO - Read Scripture Text:   John 3:16-21

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world but so that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him is already condemned because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that the light came into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone that does evil hates the light and avoids the light so as not to be reproved for his deeds. But he that lives the truth comes to the light so that his deeds may be seen and known to come from God.

MEDITATIO - Meditate on text, allow the LORD to touch us with His Word:

Love

Believe

Not to condemn but to save

Light

Darkness

Choosing light and life

ORATIO – Lifting our minds and hearts to the LORD in prayer:

LORD, Almighty Father, your gift of your only-begotten Son to save us rather than condemn us and to illuminate our lives gives witness to your unconditional love for us. Send your Spirit to guide us and grace us so that we might all choose wisely and lovingly to believe in your gift, your Son, Jesus Christ, and to choose His light over darkness this day and all the days of our journey home. Grant that we may embrace Christ love and light and move from fear to joy and live in love and truth. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who reigns with You and the Spirit, one LORD, forever and ever. Amen.
