Under Construction (10/23/2026)

This morning as I sat in prayer and reflection on my porch, I could hear construction vehicles in the distance, especially the backup alarms, as they work on building a new gym at our local high school. Rather than distract me, it intensified my reflection. My journey isn’t all about the destination; my journey is also about how I allow myself to be transformed along the way. This morning, in prayer, I allowed myself to be reminded that I am under construction.
As I reflected, I realized anew that the joy and the suffering, the challenges and the rewards invite me to conversion, to change, to becoming the one I was created to be. I realize I still have a long way to go, but I am grateful for the many opportunities along the way thus far to better orient myself to the LORD and to be more attentive to my sisters and brothers. I promise to keep on keeping on, in faith, buoyed by hope, and fueled by love. I realize I still have much to learn about being a daughter of LOVE itself.
As we journey together, let us remain open to the need for change, let us embrace the opportunities that come our way to more truly orient ourselves in love to our LORD and our LORD’s desire for us. Let us reflect lovingly and prayerfully on our moments and let us open ourselves more fully to the LORD’s voice often delivered in the cry of our sisters and brothers. Let us embrace the truth, that the LORD’s desire for us surpasses any dream we may have for ourselves. And let us do all this out of love for LOVE itself, our LORD.
Until tomorrow, let us all love well.
