LECTIO - Read Scripture Text:   Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways!

For who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has been his counselor?

Or who has given the Lord anything

that he may be repaid?

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

MEDITATIO - Meditate on text, allow the LORD to touch us with His Word:

Am I in rightful awe of the LORD?

BREAKING OPEN THE TEXT:

Paul offers us a song of praise to the LORD and calls us to recognize the Lord’s supreme and universal sovereignty, limitless wisdom, and awesome mercy.

ORATIO – Lifting our minds and hearts to the LORD in prayer:

LORD, my God, the depth of your wisdom and the lengths of your knowledge stir me to awe, and your mercy exceeds my human understanding. You are the source of all; all goodness comes from You. I trust You and your divine design, your holy plan, even though I cannot understand it always. I know that all that I have come from You. Help me to live my life in a manner that brings your glory. Grant that I may daily live my life fueled by your love and love for You. Amen.

CONTEMPLATIO – Sitting with the LORD in silence for a minute or more
