Daily Scripture Reflection & Prayer: March 21,2026

LECTIO - Read Scripture Text:   Psalm 7:2a, 9-11

Oh LORD, my God, in You I put my trust.

Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,

But establish the just,

For the righteous God tries the heart and affections.

My defense is God,

Who saves the upright of heart.

MEDITATIO - Meditate on text, allow the LORD to touch us with His Word:

“trust” – confide in the LORD, seek refuge, hope in the LORD.  “just” – righteous, right with God and right with one another.

ORATIO – Lifting our minds and hearts to the LORD in prayer:

Almighty Father, as I complete the fourth week of my Lenten journey, help me more firmly place my trust in You and in your love for me and desires for me now and forever. Send your Spirit to stir within me and give me the resolve to route out those area of my life that keep me from You and your love. Grant that I may focus more on the love of your Son, my savior, and his teachings and example as He showed us all “the way and the truth and the life.” I ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Spirit, one LORD, forever and ever. Amen.

CONTEMPLATIO – Sitting with the LORD in silence for a minute or more
