A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Loving and gracious, LORD, I thank You for my life and the lives of my family members and friends. I thank You for the gift of your Son for my redemption, for your love so deep and so pure that You would give me a gift so great. I thank You for the gifts and graces showered upon me by your Spirit so that my journey here on earth may bring me daily closer and closer to You. I thank You for my country, as imperfect as it is, a nation founded "under God." Please continue to guide us, to grace us, and to use us as an instrument of your peace and your divine design. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
