Daily Scripture Reflection & Prayer: April 6,2026

LECTIO - Read Scripture Text:   Acts 2:22-24

People of Israel, hear these words:

 Jesus of Nazareth was a man approved by God among you with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed by him in your midst, as you yourselves know. Him being delivered by the ordained purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain. God has raised Him up, overthrowing the pains of death because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

MEDITATIO - Meditate on text, allow the LORD to touch us with His Word:

Jesus – among you – in your midst

God has raised Him up

ORATIO – Lifting our minds and hearts to the LORD in prayer:

Almighty Father, as I begin my day with the joy of Easter still strong in my mind and heart, I offer my praise and my thanksgiving to You for your loving gift of your beloved Son. As I go about this day, help me to remember the truth revealed by Jesus on Easter morning, that love so great cannot be denied. Send your Spirit to help me follow more closely and more perfectly in the footsteps of your beloved Son as His disciple. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Spirit, one LORD, forever and ever. Amen.
