Scripture Text: Mt 11:28-30
Jesus said: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."

Today’s short gospel text recounts Jesus’ invitation to “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened.” Jesus reassures us of rest but also purpose and guidance when we surrender ourselves to Him, accepting His yoke, learning from Him. He walks with us.
Meditating on the text with personal questions:
Have I truly surrendered myself to Christ? Do I allow Him to guide me? Do I accept the weight of His “yoke” – uniting me to Him?
Praying:
LORD, Jesus Christ, I come to You, weary from the journey, and I open myself to You fully. May I find the rest You promise. May I learn from You as You accompany me on my journey. May I surrender myself to your yoke, allowing You to guide me, allowing You to save me. Amen.
