Daily Scripture Reflection & Prayer: July 9,2026

LECTIO - Read Scripture Text:   Psalm 80:2ac, 3b, 15, 17

O shepherd of Israel, hearken,

From your throne upon the cherubim, shine forth.

Rouse your power.

O LORD, look down from heaven,

Take care of this vine.

And protect what your right hand has planted,

The son of man whom you yourself made strong.

Let us see your face, LORD, and we shall be saved.

MEDITATIO - Meditate on text, allow the LORD to touch us with His Word:

Do I recognize my vulnerability apart from God? Do I recognize the LORD’s love spent in my creation?

ORATIO – Lifting our minds and hearts to the LORD in prayer:

Lord, Creator, Savior, Sanctifier, rouse your power and let your face shine upon me. Stir within me so as to increase my faith in You, and deepen my hope in your promise, and intensify my love for You this day and all my days. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
